When you click on the calls button, you will then be able to access your call history. This gives information about calls to your business that came directly from Google. 

So how does Google know where the calls came from? When a customer initiates a call directly through Google, it actually goes to a forwarding number. This forwarding number then captures information about how the caller found your phone number, while also passing the call through to your business. 

Google can provide a wealth of data-driven insights through this call tracking method, including aspects such as the number of callers, the location of callers and also the duration of any calls.
